COMPENSATION: $24.34 - $28.60/hour Home Office grade 3

THE OPPORTUNITY

YES Prep needs a dynamic (title of role) with a diverse set of experiences, to make our mission a reality. To put it simply, you will strive to ensure all current, prospective, and outgoing YES Prep employees’ files are maintained according to federal and state regulations. You will also utilize the applicant tracking system and Munis to align and process personnel actions in conjunction with timely employee communication as needed.

THE ROLE

When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:

Onboarding Support

• Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
• Performing I9 verifications to confirm eligibility for employment.

Talent Inbox Management

• Managing the Talent inbox by reviewing and responding to emails related to Verification of Employment (VOEs) needing additional information, Statements of Employment (SOEs), and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) inquiries.

Staff Record Management

• Maintaining and updating employee service records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Overseeing the management of employee transcripts and ensure they are up-to-date and accessible.

Employee Worker's Compensation

• Supporting worker's compensation claims by coordinating with insurance providers and employees (scope of duties related to this function will be determined and communicated as needed).

Unemployment Claims

• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of unemployment claims, specifically those related to voluntary separations (Vol EOEs),

Expired Document Management

• Monitoring and managing expired documents, including renewal notifications and updating records as required.

Approved Student Drivers

• Managing records and documentation related to approved student drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Do Not Hire (DNH) Registry

• Maintaining and updating the Do Not Hire (DNH) registry to ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

THE NICE TO HAVES

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
• Human Resources experience or a strong desire to dive into the Human Resources field
• Has a creative energy and strong track record of innovative, solutions-oriented ideas
• Leadership experience at the college or professional level
• Microsoft Excel

• Compensation – This position is an exempt, salaried position; offers commensurate with experience.
• Health and Supplemental Insurance – A $0 monthly medical option that includes $600 towards a Health Savings Account, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20+ hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.
