9:00am - "The G3 Approach"
Guest Speaker: Graham Bergsma, Founder G3 Wealth Strategies
The world has changed. Shouldnât we change along with it?
The main advantage of the most successful companies on earth is all the same: User Experience.
Can we evolve our way of doing things to provide a better experience to prospects and clients? Should that experience extend beyond there to other stakeholders in the process?
Weâll be discussing a new process, proven to create exponential growth in advisorsâ practices. We will break it down and give you step by step instructions â creating a top-tier experience for everyone involved.
Discover how to spot opportunities, quickly get the ball rolling, shorten your sales cycle, and create larger, sticker cases.
Master the ability to integrate clientsâ existing professionals, and turn that accountant from the boogeyman into your new best friend.
Weâll learn how to approach stakeholders with humanity, to create not just clients⊠but stark-raving fans that will be more than happy to refer you to their friends.
The difference between a stagnant practice and a full pipeline of large cases isnât that big. It really isnât.
Letâs come together and talk about the small, but powerful changes we can all make to create a better future.
Course Learning Objectives:
- How important user experience has become to all businesses, especially ours
- How to effectively position life insurance in the HNW space
- How to effectively engage clients for initial conversations
- How to effectively integrate clientsâ accountants / lawyers / etc into the process
- How to effectively create and manage the advice team around a client to create the best possible outcome.
- How to identify client goals and design effective solutions around those goals.
- How the adoption of this new process can lead to bigger, better, stickier casework.
10:00am - "How to Win Friends in the Tax & Estate Planning Community and Influence Positive Outcomes for People"
Guest Speaker: Brent Swatuk, Regional Vice President | Desjardins Insurance
How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie is often quoted as a must-read book and classic for any sales professional. This talk will lay out a framework of what you will want to prepare in order to make the tax and estate professionals your friends and have them fighting to get your phone call.
Tax & Estate professionals are a key component in effectively working with HNW & Corporate clients, along with their teams. They can have a positive influence on the solutions for our clients and prospects, but it is the advisorâs job to initially gather the facts, potential structures, the important details, identify the problems, and then make the approach to the appropriate professional. Our talk will discuss the what you need to gather to be success, and as a bonus, turns out that this is what you will need in order to win underwriting friends in answering the question âDoes it make sense?â.
Presenter Bios:
Graham Bergsma
Founder| G3 Wealth Strategies
Graham was born in Chatham, grew up in Toronto, went to school in Connecticut, and has lived and worked across North America and Europe. Sports and travel are his two great passions, driven by his love of competition and new experiences.
Graham has spent a decade learning every in and out of every product, service, offering, and deal in insurance but what heâs proud of is having found a way to make them relatable. Graham believes that the financial services sector has by and large done a disservice to the general public. Not because their products aren't worthwhile, but because they've been so darn bad at making them easy to understand. Literacy on the powerful opportunities that exist for people to take control of their hard earned dollars is his driving ideal now.
Grahamâs journey has taken me around the world, from semi professional and international lacrosse, to education, to financial services. All of it in pursuit of getting a bit better each day, and sharing as much of that joy and knowledge as I can with those around him.
